Ifrån Kalefornien kommer designbyrån Skate Study House som nischat in sig på att bygga repliker av klassiska möbler. Fast med delar från skateboards. Roligt och snyggt och befriande. Kan ni gissa vilka klassiker bilderna nedan föreställer?
Här gissar jag att dom härmat Isamu Nogushis soffbord från 1948. Vansinnigt vacker om det inte vore för att det är ett glasbord. En av världens mest opraktiska uppfinningar. Ät ett kex och det ser ut som om man haft ett helt fotbollslag på besök. Peta på glaset en gång och det ser ut som om det sipprar fett ur porerna på en. Värdelöst!
Den här är lite lurigare. Det kan vara LCW – Lounge Chair Wood av Charles Eames.
Jae, det här kan väl vara vilken hylla som helst. Har ni någon gissning?
Men det här måste väl ändå vara Charles Eames Lounge Chair.
